Zzzzzzz... *ZAP!* Zaadz? WazZzup...?
Admittedly, Peter Ragnar (pictured above) is a little bit of both:
guru, first and foremost, and doctor, sort-of...

Mr. Ragnar advertises on ZAADZ - a luminescent community to be found right here, on the wondrous world wide web, where luminescence is -at long last- commonplace and obscurantism, ah, ostracized?
Well, no negative vibes now - there is no ostracism there, ever!
Only, from the get-go, Zaadz makes firmly clear that no darkness is to be allowed or tolerated within that illuminated community.
And that is, in itself, a breath of fresh air.
For there are PLENTY of sites where CONFRONTATION is the chief aim and very raison d'être of the websites... At Zaadz, it is the complete opposite. :)
Of course, I have my own chunk of Zaadz to dock in - here.
Whenever setting sail is too tumultuous - going there is an excellent option for solace, replenishment, nurturing of the soul and plain relaxation.
Oopsy doopsy, though - for it seems like I took too long to both join Zaadz as blog about it: it has changed its name! And it is effective TODAY!
What timing, still, wouldn't you agree? ;)
Zaadz has thus become, quite simply, "Gaia.com".
I guess it is true that simplicity is always best, yes.
Zaadz, as a name, evoked that classic Sean Connery film, Zardoz!
Gaia evokes only - well, the Earth!
It is good to refocus things properly like this - aye!
I'm not going into any "hummmmmmmmm" over this now though...!
Nor am I retitling this entry "Gee... GOSH! Gaia? Golly!" or anything of the sort!
How dare gainsaying Gaia deny me the right to zap Zaadz here...? *lol*

Zaadz has indeed become GAIA -
a metamorphosis that we simply HAD to see coming, from a mile away!
Here's an excerpt from an e-mail I received that explains IT ALL...

Everyone?
If you've been on the site over the past month or two, you'll know that tomorrow is going to be big.
Tomorrow, January 15th, is the date that Zaadz will be evolving into the Gaia Community.
What does this mean? If you'd like the longer version, you might explore the Gaia Community pod for some reflections. The Team blog, too, includes our story, and a bit about what this emergent community means—as well as an ongoing conversation with both new and old members. In short, though, after tomorrow you'll find that Zaadz's seed has blossomed into Gaia: we'll have a new name, and a new look and feel, and a renewed dedication to, well... being the change.

I wouldn't mind being a "Gaia Webster" - the gangster though, that was the OTHER GUY...

Time will tell what Gaia web users will be known as...
The name "Gaia" only evokes to me images of an angry "goddess" though!
Indeed, it conjures up, for my part, nothing but a fed up entity who has had her fill of US!
CBC radio host Bob McDonald has it right when he says that the earth has a skin infection called HUMANITY!
And what do WE do when we have zits?
WE ZAP'EM DEAD!
