Feminism = reverse misogyny!

It sure damn is!

I was zapping on through the other idle, boring week-end afternoon and BAM; I stumble across the latest pledge drive for wretched PBS! Ughhhh!
Who is helping them out, this time? Hmm? HMM?
Somebody with a common interest, as usual - someone who wants to "donate" his/her time just so he/she garners enough FREE PUBLICITY in order to, down the line, cash in BIG TIME...
And, in the meantime, that someone "donates" CDs or DVDs of his latest "great works" - to whomever donates 100, 250 or 500$ ON THE SPOT!
Great, GREAT racket, I tell ya...

But who was it, this time?
André Rieu? Some forgotten folk singer on some kind of "revenge tour/comeback" for the umpteenth time? Yanni, again?
None of the above!
It was SUZE!
Suz-eeeeeeeee - please! (Pronounce it as she wants it to be pronounced, already!)

At some point, the high finance dyke says something that struck hard: and it wasn't even anything from her vast, deep reaches of wealth wisdom either! It was just a SIDE JOKE in fact - REALLY...! She said "men die before we do; I'd swear that we're killing them off!"
(I may be paraphrasing, but that is the gist of it alright...!)
SHEESH...
Here she is talking to an exclusively female audience, talking about empowering them to help THEMSELVES (heck her exact words there are "teaching you to SAVE YOURSELVES" - no less! But I am digressing now; and straying from my main point of contention!)

You self-empowered gals are killing us off, eh?
HA!

If that isn't reverse-misogyny, what is?

As I zap further away, in semi-disgust, I find, back-to-back, the commercials for two local films no one in their right minds will go see in a theater - even if you are a local denizen, born and bred...

"POLYTECHNIQUE" and "JE ME SOUVIENS" are certainly two films of the Québécois fabric that NEEDED to be made; before the world goes down the tubes, that is!

But that is all I'll say of "positive" about it -
they remain Canadian films, after all; hence, they SUCK!

Thinking about that guy in the real-life inspired POLYTECHNIQUE film though; he sure made sure no Suze would kill him off and thrive on financially while he would rot away - he killed a dozen women with promising careers ahead of them before offing himself.
His mother is now making a LIVING, very nearly, with the strife and anguish she incurred from all this trauma and the stygma of having her son commit such a heinous act - proving that trauma pays and that, in the end, no matter what the circumstances, even when they get to be atrocious and horrendous and as far removed from the normalcy of a humdrum life as it can be; Suze is RIGHT!
If bimbos your age don't get you, a dyke will or your own mothers will make a bundle off of you...! Tragedy after tragedy; a domino effect of the most insidious kind, here... But most observers would call it "turning a negative into a positive" - and that can be true, too. Truth on this level and on this side of reality is always subject to PERCEPTION, alas...

I am not sure what JE ME SOUVIENS is truly all about; but it obviously caters to the inane sense of grandeur that the Québécois Queer has, generally-speaking of course... It stars Céline Bonnier and Roy Dupuis - and everybody knows that Céline will also outlive Roy here; it is a given! No matter where you turn, Suze's words resonate now; so it seems anyway, on this idle week-end afternoon...!

I wonder how many Quebec bimbos she will "convert" to her program though: the PBS affiliate I watched can obviously be seen in that territory, but the hoes (I add an "e" to ho, always; my prerogative, ok?) up there have to KNOW THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE in order to "catch on" and sign up!
Similarly, redneck and yankee hoes (...) have to have enough brain cells left after years of self-abuse in order to possibly be able to muster any kind of willpower and start self-empowering away...!

Sounds like something straight out of the damn POWER RANGERS, dammit...!!!

I'm sure anyone with half-a-brain can imagine Suze hitting on the female Rangers now... *LMBO*

Not that I am implying she hits on half her audience now; she knows better than to do that! She's allegedly content with her "life-partner" anyway... HA!

And she has tons of good old common sense NEVER to jeopardize the money-making machine she tinkered out of thin air...!

She can talk all she wants about women outliving men, ultimately though; because she'e neither a woman, nor a man. Nor even a dyke!
She's an ORMAN!

LOL

p.s.

Did I just blog this a mere few hours before the International WOMEN'S DAY OR SOMETHING...?

I sure did!
